Experience of dashain

Dashain is the greatest festival of Hindu religion. The festival is celebrated for 15 days worshipping the Goddess Durga. It usually falls in the month of Ashwin or Kartik. about dashain, it is also regarded as one of the longest and biggest  festival of the year.
       
This time I didn’t go to my village and I stayed in Kathmandu during the holidays. My family celebrated Dashain in in Kathmandu. In 5th ashwin we celebrated Ghatasthapana.
Phulpati:
 11th of Ashwin was celebrated as Phulpati. In this day all members of my family went to worship lord Durga in pashupatinath temple.
Asthami:
This was celebrated on 12th Aswin.  Asthami is also regarded as 8th day of dashain. This day many people in the Nepal used to it celebrate by sacrificing animals to Durga and Kali. They used to sacrifice mainly goat in the temple. Our family also sacrificed a goat in the temple and on that day we called the relatives in our house and we had meat of goat.
Dashami:
This day was celebrated on 14th kartik is known for putting tika. On this day we take tika and Jamara from our elders and receive their blessing. Elder member of the family started to put tika for younger member and start to give blessing. Everything was good and all member of my family were happy and they were feeling wonderful. We took some photographs while putting tika. Everyone in the member put tika to each other. I also received tika and jamara from my parents. The day went very good with my parents and all the relatives.
This Dashain wasn’t quiet good but however I enjoyed a lot with my parents and relatives.

Visit to sericulture

Sericulture The rearing of silkworm in cmmerical scale to produce silk is called sericulture.  I am sharing my some of knowledge i got on kavre sericulture on friday we went there from school. Mainly two species are commonly reared in Nepal seri silkworm and eri silkworm. its concept was first introduce in china. The mulberry silk moth is domesticated insect its is not found in wild forest. It lives on mulberry Tree and feed on its leaves.there are four stages of silkworm  egg larva pupa adult 1.Egg It is first stage of life cycle of silkworm female silkmoth lays 300 pin head size egg at once eggs are incubated at 18 degree to 25 degree for 2 weeks which we got to know there here in picture we can see that in that paper there is about more than a lakh eggs of silkworm. 2.Larva It is non reproductive stage of silkworm.
